Youth Education Opportunities
YAYAs, our Youth and Young Adult Class meets every Sunday morning . We gather for breakfast (prepared by parents), catch up with one another, share thoughts and concerns, and perhaps learn something along the way. The group is encouraged to attend the 10:00 am worship together following the gathering.
Covenant Class is a study course for teens at the 9th grade level or higher that works toward the individual decision to become a member of Plymouth Church through the Rite of Confirmation. The class meets from September through Pentecost, and is led by members of the church staff.
Youth Fellowships meet every Sunday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm in the youth center at the church. These groups for teens in grades 6 through 8 & Grades 9 through 12, gather for learning, projects, activities, food, fellowship, and fun. They host speakers, plan for outside activities and events, and conduct fundraisers to help fund mission trips.

Our Whole Lives/Sexuality and Our Faith offers families and teens a comprehensive educational process for gathering information and forming attitudes, beliefs, and values about sexuality, identity, relationships, and intimacy.
The Sexuality and Our Faith component helps participants clarify their values and beliefs and emphasizes the worth and dignity of each participant.
Our Whole Lives helps parents fulfill their role as the primary educators of their children on issues of sexuality and helps create a partnership between the family and the church through parent orientation and parent education programs. Youth who participate in the program will know that their church cares about sexuality as a God-given part of life. In the program, young people will build relationships with faithful adults who care about sexuality education and sexual development. The program offers comprehensive sexuality education, which is about much more than just anatomy and health. It is about faith, values, respect, emotions, and justice.
