Sanctuary Choir This choir serves as the core of the Boar’s Head Chorus. They rehearse Wednesdays, 7:00 pm, and Sundays, 9:00 am, with additional rehearsals scheduled as needed. Contact Robert Nance for details.
Youth Music Ensemble (middle and high school youth) is comprised of youth musicians, including singers and instrumentalists, who serve for worship services and coffee houses on a periodic basis. They rehearse Sundays after worship (around 11:30 am). Various opportunities are tailored to the abilities and interests of those participating. For more information, contact Robert Nance.
Children’s Choir (Elementary school aged children): Children in this choir prepare music and musical drama for worship and special services, about one each month as scheduled, between September and May. They rehearse Wednesdays at from 6:30 to 7 p.m. For details, contact Tess Stachofsky.
Family Choir (Intergenerational choir): Intended for all ages of adults and the special children in their lives, this is a beginner’s non-performing choir. From learning simple, everyday songs of praise to the basic skills and experience that is key to sharing faith, the Family Choir is a wonderful experience! This choir meets just prior to dinner, from 5:30 to 6:00PM. For details, contact Tess Stachofsky.
Bell Ensemble (all ages, medium-advanced skill level): This handbell ensemble performs periodically for Sunday morning worship and special services, approximately once each month throughout the year. They rehearse Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. This ensemble is also part of the Boar’s Head Orchestra. For details, contact Tim Cunningham.
Plymouth Players (all ages, medium-advanced skill level): This drama troupe performs periodically for Sunday morning worship and special performances throughout the year. For details, contact Brent Blalock.
Boar’s Head Chorus and Orchestra: This ensemble provides music for the annual Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival Worship Service. Rehearses Wednesday evenings in December. A detailed schedule is mailed to interested participants in the fall. For more information, contact the church office to be added to the mailing list or contact Robert Nance.
