
PLYMOUTH MUSIC MINISTRY

Plymouth Sanctuary Choir (adult, high school youth and older): This ensemble serves regularly at the 10:00 am worship service and for special Holy Day services. From within this ensemble, a select group of singers make up the Plymouth Camerata who performs periodically. Choristers of both ensembles serve as the core of the Boar’s Head Chorus. They rehearse Wednesdays at 7:00 pm and Sunday mornings at 9:00 am or as scheduled. Contact Robert Nance for details.
Plymouth Youth Musician Ensemble (middle and high school) is comprised of youth musicians, including singers and instrumentalists, who serve for worship services and coffee houses on a periodic basis. They rehearse Sundays after worship (around 11:30 am). Various opportunities are tailored to the abilities and interests of those participating. For details, contact Robert Nance.
Plymouth Children’s Choir (grades 2-5): Children in this choir prepare music and musical drama for worship and special services, about once each month as scheduled, between September and May. Children rehearse Wednesdays at 5:00 pm as part of the morning education hour. For details, contact Tess Stachofsky or Robert Nance.
Plymouth Cherub Choir (grades K-1) Children in this choir focus on developing basic skills and songs of faith in preparation for their integration into the children’s choir. They sing periodically for worship, as scheduled, between September and May. Children meet Wednesdays at 5:00 pm. For details, contact Tess Stachofsky or Robert Nance.
Plymouth Bell Ensemble (all ages, medium-advanced skill level): This handbell ensemble performs periodically for Sunday morning worship and special Holy Day services. Rehearses Wednesdays beginning at 6:30 pm. This ensemble is also part of the Boar’s Head Orchestra. For details, contact Tim Cunningham.
Boar’s Head Chorus and Orchestra: This ensemble provides music for the annual Boar’s Head and Yule Log Festival Worship Service. Rehearses Wednesday evenings in December. A detailed schedule is mailed to interested participants in the fall. For more information, contact the church office to be added to the mailing list or contact Robert Nance.
