Children will have the opportunity to:

• explore the story of the Good Samaritan;
• answer for themeselves the question, 'Who is my neighbor?

The Easter story tells us that Jesus loved Peter, forgave Peter for denying him, and asked Peter to care for God's children. The story also tells us that Jesus loves us, forgives us, and asks us to care for others.

Children will:

• hear and respond to the story of Peter following and latger denying Jesus;
• hear ans respond to the story of Jesus forgiving Peter while they ate breakfast on teh beach;
• heaqr how Peter's story is an example of God's love and forgiveness for us;
• experience activities that will help them learn about receiving forgiveness and caring for others; and,
• consider ways Peter's actions in the Easter story speak to us today.
