FELIZ NAVIDAD | A CHRISTMAS CONCERT BY CANTO DE CORAZÓN
Collaboratively created by Plymouth Church, Renaissance YMCA and Heartland Sings, this choir sings exclusively in Spanish, providing a unique opportunity for diversity and inclusion in our community. Directed by Dr. Wagner Pastor, their inaugural program will focus on Christmas.

WE ARE THE DREAM | COMMEMORATING THE LIFE & LEGACY OF DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.
For over three decades, Plymouth Congregational Church has hosted an annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. commemoration. This dramatic presentation will include the inspiring words of many great civil rights advocates, presented by many community leaders including Janice Furtner, the Rev. Dr. Bill McGill, the Vocal Artists of Heartland Sings, Pilgrim Baptist Church and Plymouth Church’s Thee Combo all under the direction of Maestro Robert Nance.

Heartland Sings Principal Vocal Artist Lisa Gerstenkorn in a varied program of chamber music, opera, and art songs featuring the alto voice. Joined by Maestro Robert Nance, piano, Deborah Nitka Hicks, cello, Barrett Seals, oboe and Natalie Young, soprano in exciting works composed by Bach, Brahms, Rossini, Bernstein and female composers Betty Roe, Dorothy R. NEW ORLEANS JAZZ PENTECOST CELEBRATION
This is an outdoor program, held in the Plymouth Church parking lot at the corner of Berry St. and Fairfield Ave. Attendees should bring a chair, dress appropriately for a warm spring day, and are invited to don the colors of Pentecost (red, white, yellow). Music for this event features a jazz band of trumpet, trombone, clarinet, banjo, drums, piano and bass, and members of Plymouth’s choir will sing several songs as well. Rev. Timothy Murphy will also deliver a brief homily.

​THE NEUE WIND OCTET
Featuring John Uchal, Stephanie Patterson, Alex McCrory, Travis Larson, Tony Park, David Harris, Erin Yoder, and Kin Blaha, this “new” wind ensemble performed the music of Beethoven, Mozart, Harrison, and Galbraith. Watch here.
ANDREA SALAZAR, SOPRANO, DR. WAGNER PASTOR, TENOR, and MAESTRO ROBERT NANCE, PIANO
This husband and wife duo, originally from Ecuador, presented a recital of music from traditional art song, arias, and music from Latin America. Wagner and Andrea both work for Heartland Sings as professional vocal artists and teachers.
