NEW ORLEANS JAZZ PENTECOST CELEBRATION
This is an outdoor program, held in the Plymouth Church parking lot at the corner of Berry St. and Fairfield Ave. Attendees should bring a chair, dress appropriately for a warm spring day, and are invited to don the colors of Pentecost (red, white, yellow). Music for this event features a jazz band of trumpet, trombone, clarinet, banjo, drums, piano and bass, and members of Plymouth’s choir will sing several songs as well. Rev. Timothy Murphy will also deliver a brief homily.
